Liberty Naud of SMaRT Education worked with SCORE volunteers Roy Breneman, Andy Lorenz and Marvin Schurgin in setting up and moving forward with her non-profit dedicated to inspiring our next generation of leaders and innovators by providing exciting hands-on exploration of science and technology to the students and young adults of the Coachella Valley. In a pinch - I teach kids how to build and program robots and then assist them to participate on a competitive platform to build self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

Without SCORE, my once fledgling non-profit would not be the incredible growing enterprise that it is today. In a very short period of time SCORE has helped me gain the validation and business practices needed to thrive. And when we ask of the children of Coachella Valley, "Have you built a robot today?" I have no doubt that in the next five-years every student will have had the opportunity to say, "YES!"

Bob Machado of Compass Rose Financial Planning recently tried something new in hopes of helping his business grow.    SCORE's goal is to help you live your dream. SCORE volunteers are successful entrepreneurs and executives who love business and want to share their knowledge with you, so you can succeed too.
    
2. Who are SCORE volunteers?
   SCORE is a nonprofit group of 11,200 volunteers across the country, scores locally, who have been in your shoes. Take advantage of their expertise.
    
3. How do I access SCORE's services?

4. Is there a limit to how many times I can Ask SCORE?
   Talk to SCORE again and again. There's no limit on mentoring. Long term mentoring is a great help. And, specialty experts can help as you request answers to specific questions.
    
5. How does SCORE work with the SBA?
   The SBA is the government's source of information on small business. The SBA also provides guarantees to lenders for small business loans. SCORE is a resource partner that provides mentoring and training for entrepreneurs.
